This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using 2markdown.io.
Allowed use
You may use 2markdown.io to convert, preview, clean up, and export content that you own, created, are licensed to use, or otherwise have the legal right to process. Typical allowed uses include documentation, research notes, study material, business documents, public web pages, and Markdown prepared for AI prompts or knowledge bases.
Prohibited use
You may not use 2markdown.io to:
- Process content you do not have the right to use.
- Bypass paywalls, login walls, access controls, platform restrictions, DRM, or third-party terms.
- Generate, process, request, or distribute sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, NSFW, exploitative, harassing, hateful, violent, or otherwise harmful content.
- Create or facilitate face-swap, deepfake, impersonation, face-manipulation, or non-consensual identity misuse workflows.
- Upload malware, exploit files, phishing material, stolen data, credentials, or other harmful content.
- Scrape, rip, or mass-download third-party content in a way that violates law, platform rules, or rights-holder restrictions.
- Overload, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass our rate limits, security checks, or abuse-prevention systems.
- Use the Service for regulated, illegal, fraudulent, or high-risk activity.
AI/OCR and public-link tools
AI/OCR mode is for document conversion and text extraction. 2markdown.io does not provide AI image generation, AI video generation, face-swap, deepfake, or NSFW generation tools.
Public-link tools are intended for public content that can be accessed without logging in and without bypassing technical restrictions. Some platforms may return metadata-only output when transcripts, article text, comments, or media are not publicly available.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, block, suspend, or refuse service for activity that violates this policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.
